How it can be used:
For soothing massages
In many Ayurvedic applications, but also in classical massages, the oil is a popular ingredient. If sesame oil is used as a massage oil, its effect is particularly effective after heating to about 100 degrees Celsius. The slightly cooled, but still warm oil is used for massaging various parts of the body and has a relaxing effect. At the same time, it cares for the skin by massaging it in intensively, so that it is subsequently supplied with plenty of moisture and appears beautifully plump and healthy.
Against dry skin
In body care, the oil is a proven remedy for dry and stressed skin due to its content of linoleic acid, antioxidants and vitamins. The oil penetrates deeply and quickly into the skin and provides it with optimal moisture. It also helps regenerate the skin and strengthens skin cells.
Rich hair treatment
Sun, hair dyes and too many styling products can damage hair in the long run and make it very dry. If your hair suffers from split ends or generally needs more moisture, a weekly hair treatment with sesame oil is just right.
For example, a popular recipe is the egg-honey yogurt mask with sesame oil. For this, mix an egg yolk with 1 tsp honey and 1 tbsp yogurt. Add to this 1 tsp of oil - and the hair treatment is ready. Apply it to damp hair up to the tips and wrap a warm towel around it. After about 20 to 30 minutes, you can rinse everything off thoroughly and style your hair as usual.
For daily hair care, you can also simply massage a few drops of the oil into the lengths of your hair after washing. This will give your hair a natural shine.
Shampoo or conditioner
A few drops of the oil in shampoo or conditioner also ensure shiny, healthy hair. Here, add a few drops to your favorite shampoo or conditioner and use as usual.
Bath additive for young and old
You can add some sesame oil directly into the bath water. The oil is pure even suitable for sensitive baby skin, a few drops care for the skin of babies particularly long-lasting. The good thing about it: you can completely dispense with other bath additives, which is highly recommended, especially for sensitive and allergy-prone skin.
For the prevention of sore baby skin
In the diaper area as well as under the armpits, baby's skin is particularly sensitive and prone to sores. With a little nourishing sesame oil, however, you can prevent soreness well and also quickly nurse already reddened and irritated skin back to health.
