How it can be used:

Face and skin care

Poppy seed oil is particularly popular for skin care. It is quickly absorbed and therefore does not leave an unpleasant greasy film on the skin. Therefore, it can also be used by people who have a tendency to oily skin.

Poppy seed oil can also be used on the face without hesitation. The oil can be applied directly and undiluted to the skin and lightly massaged in.

Care of brittle hair

The valuable oil also helps with dry hair. Poppy seed oil has been a well-known home remedy for brittle, dry hair for centuries. The oil wraps around the individual hairs like a protective film, helping to restore the natural hair structure and reduce split ends. In addition, poppy seed oil has a soothing effect on the scalp and promotes healthy hair growth.

Against split ends, poppy seed oil can be applied directly to the ends of the hair after shampooing. For general hair care, the poppy seed oil is used as a cure and massaged directly onto the scalp. After a short exposure time, it can then be rinsed out without any problems.

Massage and nails

Poppy seed oil is also popular as a massage oil or for nail care.

Against skin irritations

Poppy seed oil has antioxidant properties, which means it binds free radicals. The antioxidants in poppy seed oil are said to work in soothing irritated and reddened skin. The oil is therefore also used to support against couperose (redness on the cheeks). The vitamin K contained in poppy seed oil is also helpful in the fight against unsightly red veins. An application two to three times a week can already lead to visible results.

For wood and wood care

Poppy seed oil is also great for wood preservation. It helps to preserve the wood in its original state. When used professionally, drying agents are added to speed up the process of poppy seed oil curing on the wood.
