With coconut oil you can make a really great shampoo, hair treatment or even a conditioner itself!

Contents: 100% pure organic coconut oil, 50 ml

How it can be used:

Eye make-up remover

Coconut oil is a natural care product and makes a great eye make-up remover, which even removes waterproof mascara and is still gentle on the skin. Simply put a pea-sized amount of coconut oil into your hands. Now apply the oil to a cotton pad or cosmetic tissue and remove eye make-up with it as usual.

Relief for sunburn

Coconut oil can also be used as a soothing home remedy for a mild sunburn thanks to its anti-inflammatory effect. In addition, the oil has a cooling effect that allows irritated skin to relax more quickly. To do this, apply coconut oil to wet skin directly after showering.

Shampoo

The oil is also suitable for hair care. It makes the hair shiny and helps the scalp fight dandruff. To make a coconut shampoo, mix 1 tablespoon of coconut oil with 3 tablespoons of grated curd soap, 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar and 8 tablespoons of water. Now heat the mixture in a water bath until a homogeneous mass is formed – and the shampoo is ready, which should be used up within eight weeks.

Cure and conditioner

Coconut oil is also suitable as a conditioner. It moisturizes the hair for easy combing and shine. You can leave the oil in the hair overnight as a cure or make a conditioning spray. To do this, add 2 to 3 tsp of coconut oil to a small spray bottle and fill it up with warm water. The (conditioning) spray can be used on wet or dry hair.

Deodorant paste and shaving

Pure or mixed in a 1:2 ratio with baking soda, coconut oil is also perfect as a deodorant. The lauric acid it contains counteracts the proliferation of odor-causing bacteria. Also, skin irritations after shaving are alleviated or they are directly already avoided by shaving with coconut oil.

Furniture polish and wood care

Coconut oil gives wooden furniture a fresh shine and even impregnates it. To do this, simply apply the liquid oil sparingly with a soft cotton cloth to the dry, dust-free wood surface in circular motions, let it soak in for a few minutes and polish with a cloth. Of course, this also works for all other types of oiled wooden objects such as salad bowls or cutting boards. It is best to test the wood for color changes in an inconspicuous place beforehand.
