How it can be used:

For colds

The anti-inflammatory effect of cineol helps very well against mild to severe colds. It also supports chronic bronchitis and asthma.

Here's how you can use eucalyptus oil:

1. Inhale

Add one to two drops to a large pot of boiling water and have a towel ready. Never use too much eucalyptus oil, as it can be very irritating. Pour the water from the pot into a bowl and bend over it. Place the towel over your head and the bowl to keep the steam. Inhale the steam with your eyes closed so that they are not irritated by the eucalyptus oil.

2. On a handkerchief

If you are short on time or your eyes are particularly sensitive, you can also simply put a few drops of the oil on a handkerchief. Hold it in front of your nose and take a deep breath. This is how the eucalyptus oil works as well.

3. Fragrance lamp

You can also put the eucalyptus oil in a fragrance lamp or use it in the sauna. In this way, it enters the respiratory tract more gently.

Against muscle pain and rheumatism

In addition to the anti-inflammatory effect, eucalyptus oil can also greatly promote blood circulation. Therefore, it helps against muscle pain, which can be reduced by increased blood circulation. In addition, it has a cramp-relieving effect.

Eucalyptus oil can also be effective against rheumatism or rheumatoid arthritis. In rheumatism, deposits form in the joints, disrupting blood flow and causing inflammation. The deposits can be removed with the help of eucalyptus oil, which relieves pain.

You can treat muscle and joint pain with the following methods:

1. Compress

Take a large compress and drip about two to three drops on it. Then place the compress on the painful area.

2. Aromatherapy

Aromatherapy has also been shown to reduce pain in rheumatoid arthritis.
